New method of seaming
Just been watching Patons - how to mattress seam. It really does make a great finish to clothes - I will be using this in future on all my baby clothes.
Patons have some great tutorials.

Just in case the girls are feeling left out I now have some little sister and big sister cardigans
Just check out the website for all the new designs and colours.

Summer baby clothes
Now that the warm weather is here it's time to put baby in cool cotton, but don't forget how chilly the evenings can be. That's why we offer a range of wraps and short sleeve cardigans, ideal to pop over t-shirts and dresses.

New patterns
I have had some gorgeous new cardigans made in cashmere and alpaca for baby boys and girls. I have found a vintage pattern and given it a modern twist, and these fabulous clothes will be going into the new website, so keep watching for updates !
New website
Well I have finally gotten around to some ideas for a new website.
It will be designed and built by Cogensis, and hopefully go live in June.
I'll post some photos as and when the site is working, but for now this is the photo for the home page.

Where did the time go?
I can't believe how long it has been since I was on here ! When I began I promised I would put something on every week, even if it was only a comment on the weather. But time gets away from me.
The website still struggles on, lurching from one crisis to another, but I love it so I am going to keep it going whatever it takes ( usually my savings ). I have such amazing feedback from the customers who are thrilled to get professionally hand knitted baby clothes and blankets.
I am hoping to get some more hooded jackets and jumpers made with skulls, bats and spiders, but my lovely Di is going into hospital, so that may get put on hold.
To be honest I should say all my ladies are lovely, and without their support and hard work Hand Knit Baby Wear would have perished months ago ! So, a big thank you to my knitters and support team. Not only do they provide me with fabulous clothes but they listen to my screams and rants and still want to be friends with me.
And I will try to update this blog more often.
